Project 365 – Week 9

As part of my goal to take more meaninful photos and get more involved in blogging linky’s, this year I am taking part in project 365. Project 365 involves taking a photo everyday and then sharing a weeks worth of photos at the end of every week. Here we have week 9…

Day 56 – Sunday 25th February 2018

Aoife showing off the Cloth Rockz Bing nappy she got for her birthday in November. We had a relatively quiet Sunday. My partner, Luke, had to work so Aoife, Cassius and I went to have dinner with my parents. I managed to get Aoife in bed and sneak downstairs with Cassius to watch Call The Midwife!

Day 57 – Monday 26th February 2018

Another of Aoife’s favourite nappies. This one is a Cuddly Bums In The Night Garden nappy that features Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle and Makka Pakka, and has an awesome set of ruffles. It’s been so cold today! We went to our toddler dance group and came straight home to the warm!

Day 58 – Tuesday 27th February 2018

Cassius all wrapped up warm! Today was even colder outside. It snowed on and off throughout the day but nothing really settled. Today we got out to playgroup and then went to see Aoife’s Nanny for some lunch!

Day 59 – Wednesday 28th February 2018

The Beast from the East finally hit us here in Leicester. The snow finally settled. We went for a walk as a family but soon regretted it as a blizzard of snow hit us!

Day 60 – Thursday 1st March 2018

I had a battle getting Aoife dressed this morning. I absolutely love this Kite fox pinafore dress. Aoife on the other hand wasn’t too keen. The compromise was letting her put this Spiderman sock on her hand. Today, we ventured out to the local retail park to spend some Marks and Spencers vouchers that Cassius was given when he was born. He got some lovely items. They have a wonderful range of baby clothes. Again a compromise with Aoife, she came wearing her Paw Patrol slippers!

Day 61 – Friday 2nd March 2018

Couldn’t resist snapping this of Cassius in his Monsters Inc. bodysuit. The sleepsuit to go with it was of Sulley and also super cute! We didn’t go out today as just couldn’t face taking the two little ones out in such bitterly, cold weather. I’m hoping spring rolls up soon, it’s late!

Day 62 – Saturday 3rd March 2018

You know when they just don’t want anything other than to be attached to your nipple… Yup!

Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully next we have some better weather and say goodbye to this snow!

  1. Lots of cute outfits! Lol @ the sock on the hand, I have a similar photo, when toddler Eddie wanted to dress up all by himself. And yes, I remember those times, when nothing can console but the boob. It can be very exhausting. Hugs.

  3. I remember my girls having frilly rubbers that went over proper nappies nearly 40 years ago. They are rather cute, love her agile position.
Amazing how we compramise for some peace.
I agree it was way to cold to be takingyoung children out.

  4. Those nappies are awesome and Cassius looks very cute in his Monsters Inc bodysuit. He reminds me a lot of my eldest (now 16 and nearly 6 foot) in that photo. It really has been very cold this week, I don’t think I would have been keen on taking such small children out in it either.
